The Canopy Balancing Jack (CBJ) is a single-stem, double chamber type pressurised with pressurised gas:

– Stem Chamber (SC)

– Caseback Chamber(CC).

The CBJ is provided with two pneumatic interfaces to allow gas refilling.

The CBJ, through its mechanical interfaces is joined with the canopy, counterweights it in each position and allows the pilot to easily move the canopy.

The CBJS can hold the canopy in two positions: fully opened and intermediate position.

Fully closed position is maintained by a dedicated locking device installed directly on canopy.
