The main functions of the Accumulator Dump Manifold (ADM) are:

– to dump the Hydraulic Accumulator on the pressure line connected with ADM, with manual or electrical command.

This function is performed by the Solenoid valve (SV) integrated that is a Normally Close (NC) valve.

– to allow system pressure decrease toward Return line in case of system over pressure, by means of the Thermal Relief Valve (TRV) integrated.

The TRV integrates also a filtering function by means of a screen installed in the same sub assembly. 

The filter screen cannot be replaced without replacing the whole valve within overhaul.
