The brake force demand is computed and sent to the EBCU (Electric Brake Control Unit) via Arinc-429 to achieve the deceleration target.
The main functions of the EBCU are:
– Implementation of brake control functions and control law,
– Reading the brake force demand and convert it into the brake force target for EMAs,
– Overall system health status monitoring,
– Failure detection and isolation,
– Implementation of Antiskid algorithm.
