The Remote Electronic Unit (REU) will be used to meet different flight control purposes, namely:

– Perform “local” loop closure for the various aircraft servo-actuators, by receiving positional commands from control computer on a digital data bus and transmitting back selected feedback signals.

– Act as A/D interface and basic monitor for specific sensor interfaces, including cockpit inceptors position transducers.
