The Speedbrake Actuator (SBA) is a double acting single cylinder hydraulic actuator. It has two hydraulic ports connected with the two chambers of the cylinder. The cylinder effective areas of the extension and retraction chambers have been designed in order to be compliant with the required extension/retraction rates and loads.
