The main function of the Flap Control Unit (FCU) is to transform the electrical power to mechanical power for the movement of the flap surface.

From the architectural point of view, the FCU consists of an Electronic section (E-BOX),  and a mechanical section that contains a brushless DC motor, gear reducer, torque limiter device, actuator position transducer and other mechanical parts.

Main features are:

– max absorbed current 34 A

– included torque limiter

– embedded electronic control board
