The Pitch Trim Actuator (PTA) is an electromechanical linear actuator designed with two redundant structural load paths from end to end (dual load path actuator).
The PTA integrates two motors (a primary and a secondary motor) to operate the pitch axis trim.
The PTA is designed as not reversible actuator, for this reason it holds its position without power at any load and under any environmental conditions.
