Hydraulic Filter (HF) filtering the A/C pump delivery flow (Hydraulic Filter Pressure, HFP), the return and A/C pump case drain flows (Low Pressure Filter). 

The Hydraulic Filter Return (HFR) is common for Case Drain line and Return line.

HF performance and design are in accordance with SAE AS 5440 type II class 3000. The HF is designed to withstand without leakage or permanent distortion the proof pressure and the burst pressure at maximum operating temperature both for delivery and return line.

– Ensures cleanliness level of the operating hydraulic fluid (MIL-PRF-5606 or MIL-PRF-87257) both on the HP and in the LP side. It is also compatible with hydraulic fluid MIL-PRF-46170, MIL-PRF-83282 and MIL-PRF-6083

– Distributes fluid flow and pressure to the hydraulic system consumers

– Sends back the system fluid to the hydraulic reservoir through a LP filter, or if differential pressure exceeds a certain value, through a bypass valve.

– Sends back the pump case drainage to the hydraulic reservoir through a LP filter.

– Provides HP and LP filter cartridges health status by means of dedicated differential pressure indicator devices.

– Prevents the backflow of the fluid to the pump through check valves
