The Shuttle Valve Emergency Operation (SVEO) is a hydraulically piloted, spring biased 3-way/2-positions valve with priority for the normal brake function. It is composed by 2 input ports:
– Normal breaking pressure port (N)
– Emergency/Parking pressure port (E) and 1 service port (S).
The main functions of the unit are:
– To provide a shuttle function to alternate between N and E pressure as input pressure;
– To provide N input port normally open with the output port (priority of the normal brake function);
– To provide a shuttle from N port to E port for positive differential pressure between E and N port;
– To provide a limited interflow during the translation from N to E.
